It's the age old question, why should I exercise? Why should I put myself through all that time and effort just to sweat and make myself breathe hard? For one thing, regular exercise reduces your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, diabetes and obesity. That alone should make exercise look a lot better but as if that wasn't enough exercise keeps joints, tendons and ligaments flexible so it's easier to move around and helps to keep your bones strong which helps prevent fractures later in life.
Also exercise reduces some of the effects of aging and contributes to your mental well-being and helps treat depression. Not bad reasons to start making exercise part of your life wouldn't you say? But wait, there's more! Exercise helps relieve stress and anxiety, increases your energy and endurance and helps you sleep better. Exercise also improves your physical appearance and thereby makes you feel better overall about yourself and gives you a more positive outlook about yourself.
Well as you can see, there are more than enough good reasons to consider making exercise part of your everyday life. You have nothing without your health so doesn't it make sense to take care of the one most important thing you have? Keeping fit makes living life a much more rewarding and enjoyable experience.
